Guizhou Polytechnic of Construction (GZPC) was founded in 1979. Once known as Guizhou Architecture Material Industry School and Guizhou Construction School, GZPC got its current name in 2014. As a higher vocational institute directly under the administration of Guizhou Department of Education, GZPC provides skill-oriented talent training for the construction industry by offering full-time higher education, secondary vocational and non-academic education programs. After 30 years of development,GZPC has formed the idea of  “upholding the spirit of Lu Ban to make great artisans”, aiming to become a first-class vocational college of construction with reputation both within the province and across the country.

         With an academic team working hard together, GZPC has formed an atmosphere of “freedom, integration, unity and innovation” and “free academic thoughts and independent academic spirit”. Under the guiding ideology of poverty relief put forward by provincial party committee and the government,GZPC devotes itself to local economic and social development, constantly exploring new fields, It is the ceaseless efforts of our teaching staff that lead ti the vigorous development of GZPC, as well as the growth of Guizhou province and China.

      Nowadays, the global economy is changing radically and China’s development has gained world-wide attention, which has posed both great opportunities and challenges to GZPC. With the idea of “upholding the spirit of  Lu Ban to make great artisans”, we will accelerate GZPC’s development in an open, transparent and standard way to make our college into an internationalized, democratic and regulation-based one. With the fast development of Guizhou province, we believe GZPC will achieve great success with the help of our teachers and students.
